Arrival / Sigiriya or Habarana

Sigiriya / Polonnaruwa / Sigiriya

After breakfast leave for Polonnaruwa ancient city and visit wood carving centre in Polonnaruwa . On completion return to the Hotel.

Sigiriya  / Dambulla / Matale / Kandy

After breakfast, we will climb the ancient fortress of Sigiriya, with magnificent views over the surrounding. On completion continue to Kandy en route visiting the Dambulla Cave Temple and Spice Garden in Matale. Proceed to Kandy, the last capital of the Sinhalese kingdom, where we will arrive in the evening.

Kandy

After breakfast, we will visit the Royal Botanical Garden in Kandy. Once in Kandy will introduce you to some of curious sites, including the Art & Craft centre and Gem Museum. In the evening we will witness a “Cultural Show “where each of the energetic dances performed tells its own story to the sound of drums and flutes. By the lake which the city is built around you will visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic which contains the most important Buddhist relic, a tooth of Buddha.

Kandy / Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, we will leave for Nuwara Eliya, the little England. In the afternoon we will witness to spectacle of Ramboda Water Fall and we will visit a plantation for tasting session to observe how the plant is grown and harvested.

Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, In the morning, we will commence on a city tour by Nuwara Eliya  in which we could realize why Nuwara Eliya, also is known as 'Little' England': its colonial arquitecture, Tea estates, vegetable farms, breathtaking green valleys and refreshing climate, like a spring afternoon in UK. You will fall in love with Nuwara Eliya as did the British settlers.

Those interested could take Optional Excursion to Horton Plains National Park, the nature reserve of World’s End, an enormous plateau at an altitude of 2,100 m. above sea level with panoramic views, a place where the local people tell stories regarding to leap into the void of lovers.

Nuwara Eliya / Udawalawa / Yala

After breakfast, we will proceed south across a lush foliage and wildlife, arriving at Elephant orphanage for the afternoon feeding. Udawalawe is undoubtedly the best place in Sri Lanka to see wild Asian Elephants. The orphaned calves and juveniles of the park are raised with necessary care until such time as they could be released to their habitat.

Yala / Kataragama

After early breakfast, we will set foot in the Yala National Park, full day safari in a jeep. With some good luck you will witness leopards, peacocks and sloth bear. Spend the evening at hotel or we invite you to see the sacred Kataragama Temple in order to participate for the evening ceremony and huge Tissamaharama stupa which is almost fully restored to its former glory.

Kataragama / Galle / Bentota

After breakfast, road trip to the southern capital of Galle, visiting Dutch Galle fortress, the best example of a fortified city and the largest remaining fortress in Asia built by Europeans, showing the interaction between European architectural styles and south Asian traditions. The Galle fort is a world heritage site.  The next stop is the Stil fishermen who sit on small benches on poles stuck into the water a few meters offshore in Koggala. At the Mask Museum we will see many types of mask using for several purposes: large pageants and processions, traditional dance as well as in ceremonies to exorcise demons or cure illnesses. Continue to Balapitiya, where we will enjoy of the river safari along the Madhu River. We will pass dozens of islets forested with mangroves and will appreciate the timeless natural rhythms of rural life.  A relaxing trip with plenty of interesting stops as well as a 200 year old temple, fishermen of prawns and locals cultivating cinnamon. En route we will stop at Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery is a place where the turtles are preserved from being totally extinct. The visitors can see the new born turtles and can even be a part of the process of releasing them in the sea. Evening at leisure at balmy relaxing beaches of Bentota
